A 50m canvas is rolled out flat on the beach and a man has written Rowland Lindup in the sand.

Pete Lindup will bring to life the iconic canvas celebrating 100 famous entertainers who appeared in Blackpool. Painted by his father, Rowland Lindup, the 50 metre canvas shows off Rowland’s skills as an artist and caricaturist. Pete will showcase sections of the artwork and reminisce about legendary entertainers like Ken Dodd, Norman Wisdom, Tessie O Shea, plus a whole host of stars who brought the laughter to Blackpool’s theatres.  

Recommended audience age: 8+

Tickets: £5. Ticket price excludes admission to Showtown.
